About the Foundation

The Kinsmen Club of Calgary Foundation is a non-profit Public Foundation

Mission - The Kinsmen Club of Calgary Foundation exists to positively address the needs of our community with fund-raising efforts, through creative projects, and the establishment of a financial base from which we can respond to the community’s current and emerging needs.

2020 - Kinsmen Volunteer Scholarships awarded to 6 individuals at 6 High Schools.

2019 - Kinsmen Volunteer Scholarship established and 3 scholarships awarded.

2017 - Initiate a bursaries program over the next year or two.

2016 - Continuing with the Adopt-A-Family program.

2015 - Continuing with the Adopt-A-Family program.

2014 - The Kinsmen Club of Calgary Foundation is endeavouring to form partnerships of working working with community organizations and the Kinsmen Club of Calgary to help build playgrounds within the community of Calgary. The first program is with Heritage Park Historical Village.
- Continuing with the Adopt-A-Family program.

2013 - The Kinsmen Club of Calgary Foundation supported a local initiative of the Kinette Club of Calgary through the Adopt-A-Family program. The Adopt-A-Family program accepted donations both in-kind and cash to help provide low income families with gift and food hampers at Christmas.

2012 - Supported a kin initiative to assist organizations providing financial assistance to the families of fallen Canadian soldiers through the Portraits of Honour program. This was a fundraising effort, but also received donations
